Pursuant to European Regulation no. 679/2016 (hereafter the "Regulation") and national legislation governing the protection of personal data (hereafter collectively the "Privacy Regulation"), Acciaierie Venete S.P.A. invites you to carefully read this Privacy Policy which contains important information regarding the protection of your Personal Data.
This information is provided exclusively for the site www.acciaierievenete.it.
Please note that if data of third parties are provided (emails or contacts of family members), the liability lies wholly with the person who provided such data.
Your Personal Data shall be processed in accordance with the principles of fairness, lawfulness, transparency, purpose limitation and retention, minimisation and accuracy, integrity and confidentiality, in accordance with the Regulation.
1. DATA CONTROLLER

2. PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED AND THE NATURE OF THEIR PROVISION
The website collects personal data exclusively through the contact section, where the following information is requested:
- Personal details (name and surname)
- Contact data (email, address, telephone number)
- Company worked for
The provision of such data is necessary to fulfil requests; the fields in the registration form are, therefore, considered as mandatory.
3. PURPOSE AND LAWFULNESS OF THE PROCESSING
In the contact section, the data are collected for:
- Managing requests: responding to requests sent to us via the website, including but not limited to those relating to our products or company initiatives. Pre-contractual activity is the legal basis for such processing.
4. MEANS OF PROCESSING
Your Personal Data shall be processed in compliance with the Privacy Law in force, both with the aid of electronic and automated means and manually, strictly in accordance with the purposes of processing, via the use of databases, the electronic platforms managed by Acciaierie or by third parties (appointed as Data Processors), the integrated information systems of Acciaierie and the above-mentioned third parties, and/or websites owned by or used by Acciaierie.
Your data shall be processed so as to ensure the utmost security and confidentiality and only by persons trained and authorised to process such data. The Data Controller shall implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security suitable for the processing risk.
Personal Data are mainly processed at the Data Controller's premises and at the Data Processors' premises.
5. RECIPIENTS OF THE DATA
Your Personal Data may be made accessible, for the above purposes, to employees and external consultants of Acciaierie Venete.
The Personal Data you provide may be transferred to companies affiliated with the Acciaierie Venete group and/or to third party companies located in and outside the European Union and the European Economic Area, appointed to carry out the above personal data processing activities on behalf of the Data Controller, who shall act in the capacity of Data Processors.
The Controller adopts appropriate safeguards to provide an appropriate level of protection equivalent to that used in the EU/EEA and has drawn up a continuously updated list of Data Processors, available upon request.
Finally, your data may be transmitted to the judicial authorities where necessary and in the cases prescribed by law.
6. DATA RETENTION PERIOD
To ensure compliance with the necessity and proportionality principles for data processing, the following retention periods have been established:
- Data collected for managing and responding to requests in regard to company products and initiatives and the data provided when interacting with the Acciaierie world shall be kept for as long as necessary to process the requests and subsequently cancelled if no further contact is made, save for any administrative obligations (for administration purpose, for example, a request regarding a complaint shall be retained longer than the period required to manage it).
7. THE DATA SUBJECT'S RIGHTS
You may exercise, at any time, your rights under Articles 15 et seq. of the Regulation concerning the Data Controller, including:
- the right to obtain confirmation of whether or not personal data concerning you exists, even if not yet recorded, and the communication thereof in an intelligible format;
- the right to withdraw your consent at any time, in relation to the purposes of the processing;
- the right to obtain access to the rectification, erasure, restriction of the processing and portability of your personal data;
- the right to object to the processing at any time you may wish;
- the right to appeal to the Competent Supervisory Authority should you deem that the processing of your data is contrary to the legislation in force.
